There are times when others come at you, they attack you, feel the need to put you in your place, keep you down and feeling less than.
You can decide it’s easier to be small, be quiet, keep you head down, take yourself out of the picture and retreat into the shadows. You think it will be safer.
But inside you know being less so they can be more is not the answer for either of you.
There is another choice.
You can stand back up. You know that retreating into the shadows will only make you Vitamin D deficient. Keeping your head down will only cause you to miss where you are meant to be going and being small will only result in poor posture.
So read the following and don’t give up and don’t give in to those who believe they’ll feel better about themselves if you feel like crap.
Hang in there and keep your head up, keep being, keep doing, keep going.

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centred.
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies.
Be successful anyway,
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight.
Build it anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It never was between you and them anyway.
