Ladybug medicine is about dreams coming true, wishes fulfilled, luck, happiness, material gains. There is the opportunity to a renewed sense of well being, goals are more easily achieved and worries dissipate.

However, if you push too hard, without aligning to the energy of being in harmony, preparing the conditions, setting the stage, releasing resistance –  the ladybug may appear to alert you that you are upsetting the timing and not in sync with the energy. You will instead, create delays.

In the film, Under The Tuscan Sun the main character, Frances, finds herself in Italy and dares to entertain what appears to be a “terrible idea.” She purchases Bramasole Villa which translates into, “Yearn for the sun.” She is grieving the end of her marriage and although she expresses what she wants, her vibration, in the beginning, is not in harmony with what she says she wishes to attract. It will take time.

“This house has three bedrooms, what if there is never anyone to sleep in them

The Kitchen, what if there is never anyone to cook for

You bought a house for a life you don’t even have

I am sick of always being afraid all the time

I still want things

I want a wedding in this house

I want a family in this house”

Signore Martini

“Between Austria and Italy, there is a section of the Alps called the Semmering. It is an impossibly steep, very high part of the mountains. They built a train track over these Alps to connect Vienna and Venice. They built these tracks even before there was a train in existence that could make the trip. They built it because they knew some day, the train would come.”

Signore Martini has just given her a message. Like the train tracks, she has the house.

“Regrets are a waste of time.The past crippling you in the present.”

“How are you ever going to be happy if you keep wallowing?”

“When I was a little girl I used to spend hours looking for ladybugs.

Finally I’d just give up and fall asleep in the grass. When I woke up and they were crawling all over me.”

“Go work on your house and forget about it.”

“I think you got your wish.

You said you wanted there to be a wedding here. 

You said you wanted there to be a family here.”

Frances

“You’re right, I got my wish.

I got everything that I asked for.”

The magic of Life is that when your wishes come true they may not always appear exactly the way you pictured them. They will however, be what you need. They will be what is right for all and you will have played a part, you will have contributed to the greater good.

This film will give you a renewed love of daring to go forward, entertaining the “terrible idea” and recreate. You will have to do the work, but Life will reach out to you and guide you along the way to happiness and love. Hang in there. 

And remember your wishes, your dreams can manifest in ways you may not expect.

Life Through Film

I have decided to change the flavour of Cooke’s Notes, in order to use my notes from the films and TV I have viewed for years that I feel explains life. 

I have a library of study, knowledge, laughter, imagination from mystics and sages to modern day advisors and creators.

My books go where I go. I draw insight, energy, remembering, from them.

But film has always caught my attention and through its illustration, I have learned great wisdom.

Not everyone enjoys a book, some prefer film. Many enjoy both.

Just as I read a book with a highlighter in hand, I view a film with pen and notebook on my lap recording what I feel illustrates Life, Universal Law, what can be of benefit to assist you in finding your way through this journey you have chosen. 

Let me share with you my gems, my discoveries of knowledge, enlightenment, the magic of synchronicity, how Life speaks to us and guides us, through the guise of entertainment.

The creators, like ourselves are finding their way and sharing what they experience.
