How is Your Heart?

How is Your Heart?

In this time of chaos, confusion, where your head is spinning, thoughts are racing, with a brain that is not necessarily thinking clearly, do you remember to check in with your Heart? To do this you need to stop, sit down, breathe and then tap in and listen. Remember your Heart is your Truth. Your Heart is meant to lead, not your Head. Your Head takes direction from your Heart and then activates the plan, the direction, the choice. However, if you don’t sit with your Heart and allow it the time to speak, your Head can get a tad crazy and your blessed Ego kicks in and you go off in all directions tapping into all the fear and insanity of the past and present and the illusion of an even bat shit crazier future. Heres an exercise I picked up from Gregg Braden. For Breathing, I find the Box Breathing Technique works well. Inhale for 4 counts, Hold for 7 counts, Exhale for 8 counts Go slow, it is never a race. Harmonize Heart & Head Hand on Heart – Attention to the place where you feel the touch Slow Breathing – Feel Safe, Release Create a Feeling – One or a combination For Anyone or Anything You Care about   You Have Appreciation For Gratitude Compassion For This triggers coherence between Heart & Head End with some deep breaths This is an ancient ritual. It taps into your truth and who you are in this world. This is where super learning comes from. Solutions, creativity is activated. Is a process that gives you resilience in this...
Stretch Those…Eyes!

Stretch Those…Eyes!

Nothing new – that you need to move. Get up, get out and move. Every day, throughout the day. Nothing new. But, what about those eyes? These days a large percentage of your day is in front of a screen. Your eyes for the most part, are staring straight ahead. Not good. Far too much in one direction. This weakens your eyes, creates an imbalance in your system and disconnects you to the all of you. It numbs you and deteriorates your abilities to think and create for yourself. You become hypnotized by the constant barrage of information and entertainment.  Becoming so out of synch with yourself, many can even experience aggression, lack of ability to reason, your brain becomes cloudy, coordination suffers. In short you are a mess. These screens provide us with unlimited sources, that can ignite us and brings us knowledge. But too much breaks us down. Broken down, your ability to discern between what is accurate and what is fabricated, spiralling you into a state of confusion. We need our eyes and we need our brains. We need to see and think clearly and not simply follow along with whatever is presented to us.  Now our children are online for hours at a time. Yes, there are teachers who remind their students to drink water, breathe and offer them movement breaks. None the less, it’s too much, for too long. Looking in one direction repeatedly, can create tunnel vision where you lock on one perspective and find it difficult to entertain another point of view. So when you stand up and move, remember your eyes...
When We Affirm

When We Affirm

Affirmation comes from the Latin affirmare, “to make steady, strengthen.” A statement said with assertion of something that exists or is true. A statement said in present tense pertaining to something you have chosen to attract.  You begin and you say it, state it, over and over. You ignite an energy. Life will send you some proof that what you are doing works, you will receive some positive feedback. But in order for it to be complete, what will surface next is anything that is not congruent with your statement. Anything that is in conflict, resistant to what your making steady, giving strength to, making firm. When you affirm, “Every day in every way I am better and better.” What doesn’t fit and align with this, will present itself for you to change, to heal, to go forward into what is better. When a collective energy of many comes together and affirms a choice, the energy exponentially amplifies and this universal law presents what is out of alignment with its manifestation, returns to us with great magnitude. Such as – “Black Lives Matter.” What is needed in order for it to manifest, comes to the forefront for us to heal, clear, release. We are in the midst of this.  Those who continue to hold racist views. Those who support white supremacy. Those who are afraid of change. The fear of the manifestation of Black Lives Matter, is now front and centre. It is not enough to affirm. We must now be prepared to heal what is in the way of this becoming a reality. The words are the easy...
Writing Lines

Writing Lines

For the past two months I’ve returned to writing lines — my affirmations. There are times when positive thinking and meditation need a boost, a back-up. Taking pen to hand and writing (not typing) is an energy that is powerful. It is an extension of yourself. When you have a focus on what you are choosing to attract and you feel as if you are missing the mark, writing can assist in creating the shift. I enjoy Catherine Ponder’s work. Her writings were some of the first books I read, some thirty years ago, when I began my journey into metaphysics. She’s, an easy read, practical and she tells stories from her experiences to illustrate her teachings of metaphysical concepts with a multiple of affirmations to implement change in your life and bring about manifestations for a new reality, where you are healthier, happier and more prosperous. I take an affirmation that supports what I’m working on and I write it out ten times. The power of repetition, is just that, powerful.  The energy of the “10” has no grey area. It asks for clarity, to be concise – no room for doubt or being wishy washy. Make a decision and stick with it. During this process, I started to snicker, thinking  back to my school days and how many times I received the punishment of writing lines. Hundreds of lines at a time. Yes, me. Not the most obedient student. I didn’t always share the same view as my teacher. Hmmm?  I practiced the ability to hold two pens in the same hand, producing two lines at a...
Crazy, Maybe

Crazy, Maybe

“Everything is the opposite of what it appears to be  and nothing is the opposite of what it appears to be.” Perhaps, another way to say it is; “It is, but it isn’t.” When I first started my studies, one of my first facilitators would say, “It’s simple but it isn’t.” I listened.  Always a choice to make things simple or complex. When Virginia Springer my RMT who specializes in posture alignment and much much more suggested this affirmation, I felt, “Sure, I get it.” But then I had to write her and ask her for it again and then again and ask for an explanation. This is what she sent me; The “Crazy Phrase” is an access tool.  “It’s a way to get you free. It also works to clarify things in your own world. If you have someone driving you crazy, if you have insomnia, if you are thinking too much, repeat it 3-20X, and, the person will stop driving you crazy, you will be asleep, your mind will stop running non-stop.” I am going to work with this and see what transpires. I invite you to work with this as well. Let me know what your findings are, what you attract, what you release, what you resolve. I look forward to a conversation with you.   Resource; Access Consciousness, Dr. Dain Heer & Gary Douglas Photos; Sharon Cooke, Unsplash; “Shadow” Luis...
The Art of Muscle Testing

The Art of Muscle Testing

Muscle Testing originated in Applied Kinesiology. Kinesi – a movement Ology – a science or branch of learning Kinesiology – The study of the movement of the body. In the early 60’s an American chiropractor, Dr. George Goodheart, discovered that muscle testing could determine the state of acupuncture meridians and therefore the energetic condition of the body. This method could determine whether a given muscle group was functioning normally. As this technique could determine physical trauma, it was felt that it could possibly determine emotional trauma.  And it did with 80% accuracy and it continues to do so. Your being contains all of your information, like your own personal hard drive. Muscle testing allows a practitioner to access your information. Your information rather than someone’s opinion. Muscle testing takes you to the source. Where it all began. It allows you to know how ready you are to move forward, what may be blocking you. You can determine which supplements are beneficial to you and how much would be best for you to take and on and on.  Thirty years ago, in the late 80’s, my chiropractor and my family doctor were both using Muscle Testing to access information and to ensure that any manipulation had indeed taken effect.  I decided I wanted to learn how to do what they were doing. My doctor, gave me the name of another practitioner and she sat me down and instructed me on what I needed to read and what courses I needed to take.  I said, “Yes” and away I went. Dr. Goodheart was doing this in the 60’s, I began using...
